I don't know why, but Gloria popped into my head this afternoon. I was a student of hers at National University's Women's Studies class in 1982. Gloria was not only my teacher, but my friend. I remember her telling me of her MS diagnosis and how she went out immediately and got hand controls installed on her car. Nothing was going to hold Gloria down. I admired her positive and can do it attitude. I'm so very sorry to hear of her passing. We lost touch over the years, but every once in awhile, I would send her an email just to say hi. The world has lost a very dynamic woman.
